Rob Israel was my guide through one of the most convoluted and difficult short-sale real estate purchases imaginable. The property I was trying to buy had tens of thousands of dollars of liens and judgments against it, and he managed to negotiate these down to a fraction of what they were, as the seller had gone bankrupt and was unable to pay a nickel. He worked tirelessly for over a month to get the deal done, helping at every turn as my proxy, as I was working out of the area for the entire escrow period. I had spoken with Rob a couple of times on the phone about a home he had listed. Later when I was interested in buying a home and needed a realtor I remembered my brief phone conversations with Rob.
