Green Building and Sustainable Design is the fastest growing segment of the construction industry and continued growth is expected. There are many technologies, systems, certifications, and pitfalls to be aware of to get the best value for your money when building green. The process can be very daunting.
As Prescott's only EcoBroker Certified Realtor I have the knowledge, expertise, connections and experience to guide you throughout the process of building green regardless of whether you are familiar with green building or not, whether its for your own use or as an investment to sell, whether it's a commercial or residential project.
If you need to purchase land or get financing I can help with that as well. I can identify a parcel that is ideal for your specific green building with your special needs and considerations in mind. I have relationships with lenders that specialize in green building projects too

Many people believe that building green is too expensive and cost prohibitive. This is a myth. It is true that sometimes there can be slightly higher up front costs. However when you consider the cost of owning a green building extends for decades beyond the initial construction you wind up saving far more money.
Green buildings afford owners and occupants greater comfort, health, and financial savings because of reduced energy and maintenance expenses as well as healthier indoor air quality. Additionally studies show that green buildings typically see higher occupancy rates for tenants and higher productivity rates for businesses with less absenteeism among workers. For investors and sellers of green buildings all of these premiums can be passed along to the consumer. Finally, building green is better for the environment and is good P.R. for everyone.
"I have always been committed to helping the environment, even before I became a REALTOR and EcoBroker Certified. I believe it is critical that anyone making claims of being Green walk their talk. That's why I volunteer, donate a portion of my profits to non-profit organizations both locally and nationally, and observe sustainable business practices in my office."
